Cherry Vintage Bachelor Chest, Pull Out Shelf, Pennsylvania House #29927

A solid cherry "Bachelor Chest" was so named because it had a pull out shelf where the "bachelor" could be served meals by his landlady, from the days when men couldn't cook for themselves. About 35 years old, the signature is "Pennsylvania House."

The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made vintage furniture. Drawers have solid oak sides with dovetail joints and original brass pulls.

Measurements are 31" wide, 19" deep and 30" tall.
