A spectacular traditional Chinese low banquet dining table was used for dining with cushions on the floor, and could also serve as a giant coffee table.
Solid genuine rosewood, the richly carved base has lavish inlay of thousands of tiny pieces of mother of pearl on three sides. There are tiny losses and touchups to this work of art.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique furniture. There are shrinkage separations from age, and hand hewn planing marks are visible everywhere on this historic table from about 1860.
Size is 76" long, 60" wide and 18 1/2" tall.
