Chippendale Pair of Carved 1930 Armchairs, Down Cushions

A classic pair of 1930 era Georgian or Chippendale design armchairs have genuine down filled and zippered cushions. Strong frames are carved birch hardwood with curly grain or burl panels.

The deep finish is excellent and original, only the tops of the armrests have been revarnished. Hand carved details include traditional claw and ball feet.

Very solid and comfortable vintage furniture, the velvety striped upholstery is beautiful.

Expertly crafted in Scandinavia, these understated armchairs measure 31" wide, 33" deep and 34" tall.
