A cast iron safe with a working combination lock has original pin striping and a picture, signed "Victor Lock and Safe, Cincinnati, Ohio." The latest patent date is 1892, and a hand painted inscription is by the dealer who first sold this safe in Quebec, Canada. Combination is included.
There is wear to the original painting and finish, see photos, which has been protected with clear lacquer. A key operates both interior iron doors. We have furnished a wood small platform to support this heavy antique safe. The door is removable to lighten the load. This safe is very heavy, a four man lift.
Measurements are 22" wide, 24" deep and 27 1/2" tall, 29 1/2" including the support platform.
