Country French 1800 Antique Small Fruitwood Armoire, Wardrobe or Closet

An authentic Country French small armoire, wardrobe or closet from about 1800 was used for the elaborate hats worn by men and women of the day.

Hand hewn and carved solid fruitwood, the restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique Provincial furniture from France. Raised and shaped panels and joints with carved wooden pegs show masterful cabinetry. The large door lock and key still work.

Dimensions are 31" wide, 21" deep and 73" tall, the interior is 14" deep.
