Country French 1800's Antique Chair
Called an "Os de Mouton" chair because of its lamb leg shape, this hand carved side chair dates from around 1800, after the original Louis XIII design from 1600.
The wormy walnut base is strong and secure with hand pegged joinery. Old faded velvet upholstery and soft springs are comfortable on this antique furniture from France. Size is 20" wide, 25" deep, 41" tall and the seat is 18" high.
