A sophisticated Country French dining set from about 1940 includes a table with three leaves and six chairs with new upholstery. The maker's signature is lost on this American made vintage furniture.
Matched walnut has an excellent restored finish, preserving a few mars at the edges for a little antique character, see photos. The table has center double legs for extra support when extended, the top and original leaves are banded with quarter matched burl panels.
Measurements are 41" wide, 30 1/2" tall, legroom is about 25" underneath and length when closed is 64," with all three leaves in place, length is 94" overall.
Six large and comfortable chairs are tight and durable, reglued and restored to serve another generation. The arm chair measures 25" wide, 23" deep, 39" tall, the seat is 19" high and 17" deep. Five side chairs are 21" wide, 22" deep and 38" tall. The matching sideboard in photos is sold separately, call or email for availability.
