Country Pine Primitive 1880 Antique Pie Safe, Punched Tin

A country pine and poplar rustic "pie safe" with punched tin panels for ventilating fresh bakery dates from around 1880.

The finish is in excellent condition, preserving lots of stains, losses and mars for antique character. There are various restorations over the years. Square cut nails are visible. Inside is old paint on this American made primitive kitchen furniture.

Size is 40 1/2" wide, 17" deep and 51 1/2" tall.
