Country Store Pine Seed Cabinet 1900 Counter

Hand made about 1900 for a country store in northern Wisconsin, a pine seed cabinet or counter has glass window compartments to display seeds or beans that were sold in bulk. On the back are three large tilting slide out bins where contents were scooped out to weigh for customers.

The satiny finish is in very fine condition with beautiful warm honey toned antique patina. There is lots of antique character - dings, losses, stains and mars.

This rustic island counter has raised panels. Inside, the contents in the display can be changed if desired. Size of this nostalgic furniture is 58" long, 29" deep and 34" tall.
