Engraved "Crocker," this 1850's silver ladle is signed "A B Van Cott," and is "coin" silver, about 800/1000 purity, less than sterling silver at 925/1000.

Hand made with a shell shaped bowl, this American made antique sauce or mayonnaise server has maker's hallmarks and is beautiful. Size is 6 1/4" long.
