Crouse Hinds Vintage Beacon Light for Airport, Dock or Light House Tower FCB12

A "Crouse Hinds" signed obstruction beacon light is Type FCB12, intended for airports, light houses, towers, docks and the like, and is visible for miles.

About 40 years old, this commercial grade light was made for two 700 watt flashing bulbs with large "mogul" bases. The wiring is cut off, and could be rewired with standard base sockets for lamps in a more modest wattage if desired.

The outer "fresnel" lenses have some chips as shown. There is a chunk missing on the bottom red glass liner inside, also pictured.

Measurements are 15" diameter and 32" tall.
