Daniel in the Lion's Den Carved Dutch Antique Oak 1900 Hall Bench, Lion Heads

A spectacular solid oak hall bench was hand carved with a scene of "Daniel in the Lion's Den" in Holland about 1900. Expert sculptures include lion heads and a face, there is storage under the seat.

The seat has been revarnished for durability, the rest of the original finish is very well preserved, waxed and buffed so all that is needed to maintain its luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. Deep carving shows masterful artistry on this antique Dutch furniture.

Dimensions are 60" wide, 19" deep, 56" tall and the seat is 20" high.
