Made for a draftsman or architect about 1910, this drawing desk or table has adjustable tilt and height and could be an interesting wine and appetizer table.
The solid oak base has footrests and iron mounts to adjust, the old worn finish has warm antique character. The top is pine with a very fine smooth finish and a slight warp as shown.
This American made antique office furniture is rugged and useful for an artist as well, used standing or with a tall stool.
Signed "Post Drafting Materials, Chicago," size is 6' 1/2" wide, 36" deep, in the flat position height adjusts from 35" - 45" tall.
