Dutch Antique Inlaid Marquetry Hall Center, Breakfast or Dining Table #30720

Hand carved about 1860, this round hall, breakfast or dining table was hand crafted in Holland, then shipped to the Dutch East Indies, where local artisans added the thousands of tiny pieces of intricate inlaid marquetry, and then returned to Europe. The pedestal base has graceful curved feet.

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving lots of warps, losses, restorations and shrinkage separations from age for antique character, see photos. Mahogany and golden satinwood have beautiful grain.

Measurements are 58" across, 28 1/2" tall and legroom is 24 1/2" underneath.
