English 1850 Antique Mahogany Pewter Wall Rack or Shelf for Plates & Platters

A wall mounted pewter rack or plate shelf was hand crafted in England about 1850 of mahogany with inlaid satinwood and ebony banding.

The fine old finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving lots of mars and stains for antique character. This antique furniture was made to display large platters or chargers, either pewter or porcelain.

Size is 67" wide at the crown, 8" deep and 46" tall.
