English 1890's Mahogany Linen Press or Cabinet, Signed Peveler of Leeds

A traditional English "linen press" or cabinet dates from the 1890's. Mahogany with matched flame grain panels, the satiny finish is in excellent condition with minor mars at the edges for antique character.

The signature reads "J.H. Peveler of Leeds," locks are signed "Hobbs & GP London, Patented, by Royal Appointment." Drawers have original brasses and tiny hand cut dovetail joints on this hand crafted furniture.

Two separate pieces for easier moving, the upper section has wide tray drawers. Size is 50 1/2" wide, 23" deep and 81 1/2" tall.
