Hand crafted in England around 1900, this cabinet has many functions, and was probably intended as a linen press. The finish is in excellent condition on quarter sawn oak, accented with mahogany corners and inlaid medallions.
There is a little wear at the edges for antique character, see photos. Door panels are raised, original hardware is solid brass, locks and keys work. The uppermost row of drawers are false, there are trapdoors inside the upper cabinet to access secret compartments.
Two separate pieces for easier moving, this British furniture has a bold crown with dentil molding. Measurements are 68" wide, 22" deep and 7' 3 1/2" tall.
