Farrell Clipper 1902 Treadle Seed Sorter

Operated with a treadle mechanism, this seed sorter is signed "The Clipper, Pat. 1902, A. T. Farrell, Saginaw, Mich."

Garden seeds for plants moved from the hopper to a canvas belt conveyor, to be sorted by hand, and the good seeds moved down a shaft at the rear. The old canvas is torn and could be replaced.

Pine and cast iron, the finish is in very good condition with original stenciling. This rustic farm antique measures 31" wide, 25" deep and 36" tall.
