French Antique Carved Walnut Desk, Vanity or Dressing Table, Beveled Mirror

This elegant writing desk, vanity or dressing table was masterfully carved in France about 1910, and has a shaped and beveled swivel mirror.

The original finish is very well preserved on glowing matched and banded walnut, and has been waxed and buffed. All that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. Deeply sculpted carving and gentle curves are beautiful on this antique furniture. The gallery with mirror and jewelry boxes is removable. Embossed brass hardware is original, the large drawer key is a handle only, the lock does not work.

Measurements are 35" wide, 22" deep and 56" tall, the desk top is 29 1/2" high.
