French Antique Queen Size Bed, Marquetry, Banding, Bronze Mounts #30187

This palatial bed was hand crafted in France about 1900 of mahogany with inlaid ebony, rosewood, satinwood and burl banding plus marquetry of a musical lyre. Bronze paw feet and oak leaf and acorn mounts are original on this antique furniture.

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving minor touchups and losses on the side rails. Rails have been extended to queen size, the standard modern queen size mattress and spring units are 18" thick together in photos. Wood cross supports as shown are included.

Measurements are 86" long, 65" wide, the footboard is 31" tall and the headboard is 59" high.
