A traditional French baker's table was used for kneading bread and making croissants, and would make a great kitchen island or wine and cheese a tasting table. The iron and steel base from about 1900 has great antique patina.
There is a groove around the edge for drips and spills on the later marble top, which has a ring and etched area at one end, see photos.
The cast iron pierced apron is beautiful on this historic kitchen furniture.
Size is 50" long, 29" wide and 30 1/2" tall.
