French Marble & Marquetry Coffee Table, Rams
A magnificent marquetry coffee table has a rose marble top and bronze mounts including ram heads and feet. Inlaid satinwood, rosewood, ebony and tulipwood show remarkable artistry, expertly crafted in France about 1920.
The original finish has glowing antique patina with a few stains and mars, see photos. The are are some pits in the marble, possibly natural.
Fit for a palace, size is 28" long, 21" wide and 21" tall.
