French Oak 1840 Antique Cabinet, Vessel Sink Vanity or TV Console
An authentic Country French or Provincial cabinet from about 1840 could be repurposed as a vessel sink vanity or tv console.
Hand carved of solid white oak, this well worn antique has losses, shrinkage separations and warps for character. Joints are secured with hand carved wooden pegs instead of nails and screws and hand planing marks can be felt everywhere on this European furniture.
The old finish is well preserved and has been waxed, it needs only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its luster. Rough sawn back panels are hand chamfered.
Pulls are old but not original and dimensions are 53" wide, 24" deep and 30" tall.
