Fruitwood 1790 Antique Chest or Dresser, Inlaid Banding, Germany

A charming linen chest or dresser was hand crafted in Germany about 1790 of matched fruitwood inlaid with ebony and satinwood banding.

The restored finish is in excellent condition with warm antique patina, preserving lots of warps, restorations and mars for antique character.

Drawers have solid fine grained oak sides with hand cut dovetail joints on this historic furniture. Solid brass pulls may be original, locks have no keys.

Measurements are 38 1/2" wide, 22" deep and 35 1/2" tall.
