Georgian 1800 Oak Trunk, Blanket or Mule Chest

An 1800 era authentic Georgian blanket chest was usually called a "mule chest" in England, this great looking trunk has drawers at the bottom.

Solid fine grained oak, the old finish is beautiful with lots of antique character - wear, repairs and mars.

The lock does not operate, rose cut and square nailheads are visible. Corners are joined with hand cut dovetails on this historic British furniture. Brasses may be original.

Size is 36" long, 19" deep and 19" tall.
