Globe of the World & Stand, 1900 Antique Signed Johnston of Edinburgh, Scotland

A "terrestrial globe" of the world from the early 1900's is signed "W. & A. K. Johnston of Edinburgh, Scotland," sold by "A. J. Nystrom, Sole US Agents, Chicago."

The 12" diameter globe has some wear, see photos. The cast iron base has some wear to the patina and coppery highlights. A swivel frame allows the globe to be viewed at any angle.

The colonial world of the day is especially interesting on this antique map. Overall height is 20."
