Greek Revival Empire 1920's Mahogany Sofa, Carved Lion Heads, Newly Upholstered

A Greek Revival Empire design sofa appears to be a 1920's exact replica of an 1810 original.

Carved of mahogany, the restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few mars and dings at the edges for antique character. Lion heads and paw feet plus the center "Anthemion" or palm leaf crest are authentic. Upholstery with period design fabric is new on this American made classical furniture. The seat is soft and comfortable, the back is a little softer than the original sofas were.

Dimensions are 78" long, 26" deep, 39" tall and the seat is 21" high.
