Hall, Foyer or Pier Antique Mirror, Columns

Dating from about 1885, a classical hall, foyer or pier mirror has deep moldings and fluted columns. The finish is excellent on matched walnut wood.

There are slight irregularities in the panels and warps in the upper columns, see photos. The plate glass mirror has a wide bevel on this northern European antique furniture.

Often used in entry halls, they were also popular between parlor windows to magnify the soft gaslight.

Dimensions are 41" wide, 13" deep, 92" tall and the separate base is 22" high.
