Hamilton 44 Drawer 1920 Printer File Cabinet

Made for a print shop about 1920, this 44 drawer file cabinet is signed "Hamilton" of Two Rivers, Wisconsin.

Solid birch hardwood, the original finish has been revarnished and has lots of antique character - stains, a loss at the back of the right side and shrinkage separations from age, see photos.

Identical drawers have interior dimensions of 18 1/2" deep, 15" wide and 3" tall. Original drawer pulls are also label holders.

Hamilton was known for rugged and very good quality office and business furniture. Overall size is 5' 8" wide, 25" deep and 47 1/2" tall.
