Hitchcock Antique 1850 New England Deacon or Hall Bench Original Stencil & Paint

Hand carved of pine and mixed hardwoods about 1850 in New England, this "Hitchcock" style "deacon's" hall bench has worn original stenciling and paint with great patina.

The original finish has been preserved with clear varnish. Sturdy and strong, this American made antique furniture has been reglued to serve another generation.

Measurements are 72 1/2" long, 24" deep, 35" tall and the seat is 17" high.
