Iron Bookbinder Antique 1900 Book Press, Minneapolis

From around 1900, this cast iron bookbinder's press flattened a book before the cover was bound, also useful for cracking nuts.

The plate fits books up to 9" by 12". The old painted finish is worn with a Minneapolis signature.

Overall size is 21" wide 12" deep and 16" tall.
