A genuine cast iron fire hydrant from the early 1900's ironically appears to have long ago had fire damage, and would be fun as a garden ornament.
There are traces of original red paint on the base. There is no smoke smell on this American made antique. A modern wooden stand holds this heavy salvage from a Wisconsin factory upright.
The column is 10" in diameter and 13" across where the caps are, it is 36" tall and weighs 135 lbs. The wood base is 17" square.
