Elaborately emobossed, this cast iron stove is inscribed "Congress Parlor No. 5, Sanders & Wolfe, Troy, NY, Pat. 1854."
The finish has a little rust for antique character, and the original flexible mica windows have cracks, see photos.
Vents still work on this Victorian antique heating stove. This stove appears complete and operable, but we have not tried it or tested for safety. An expert should inspect this stove before use. We assume there was once a decorative finial on the flat top surface, and there are stubs inside that probably held a grate for coal.
Feet are removable for shipping and overall size is 30" wide, 23" deep and 38" tall.
