Italian Vintage Marble Top Tulipwood Marquetry Bombe Chest or Commode

A magnificent Italian "bombe" chest with marble top is genuine tulipwood inlaid marquetry.

About 40 years old, the gleaming polished finish is in very fine condition with a few irregularities and shrinkage separations that would be expected in this intricate marquetry, made with hundreds of matched mosaic pieces. Heavy weight cast brass pulls and mounts are original on this palatial vintage furniture.

Measurements are 47" wide, 22" deep and 36" tall.
