Italian Walnut Antique 1900 Armoire, Wardrobe or Closet, Carved Angels

A spectacular armoire or wardrobe closet was hand carved in Italy with angels or cherubs about 1900.

The restored finish is in excellent condition with warm patina on wormy walnut. Three dimensional deep carving shows masterful artistry on this antique furniture. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. The original beveled mirror has a little smoke to show its age.

Locks operate with a key, lion head escutcheons are picturesque. Right and left compartments have removable shelves, there are sockets in the center where a closet pole could be installed if desired. This armoire can be disassembled for easier delivery.

Measurements are 7' wide, 23" deep and 85 1/2" tall, interior depth is 19."
