Signed by famous German clockmaker, "Junghans," this outstanding mantel clock chimes the familiar Westminster tune on the quarter hour and also the hour in deep, resonant tones.
The neoclassical carved mahogany case has an excellent finish. Arched and beveled glass is original from about 1900. Professionally cleaned and oiled, the signed brass 8 day movement is a good runner. The brass dial has embossed mounts and silent/chime and fast/slow levers.
Measurements of this exemplary antique timepiece are 12" wide, 18" tall and 9" deep.
