King Size Renaissance Carved Italian Antique 1910 Bed

Deeply hand carved in Renaissance style about 1910 for a palazzo in northern Italy, this magnificent bed has been expertly adapted to standard modern king size as shown.

The deep satiny finish is in excellent condition on solid walnut hardwood. Three dimensional carving shows exuberant artistry, the noble family crest is atop the headboard. Deep moldings are grandly proportioned on this antique furniture from Europe.

Measurements are 83" wide, 92" long, the headboard is 77" tall and the footboard is 34" high.
