King Size Rice Plantation 4 Poster Bed, Carved Mahogany & Cherry

About 15 years old, a traditional "Rice Plantation" king size four poster bed has graceful fluted solid mahogany columns with a carved rice motif. The gracefully arched headboard is matched cherry and the maker's signature is lost.

The rich finish is renewed on this stately vintage furniture and in excellent condition. Original adjustable metal cross slats with support feet are included as shown. Demonstrator spring units and mattress shown are 19" thick together. The frame bolts securely together.

Measurements are 90" long, 80" wide, and 88" tall overall. The upper part of the posts unscrew and are removable for easier delivery, so the head board is then 58" high. and the foot board is 56" tall without the finials.
