Hand crafted in April, 1933, this gold pedal harp from famous maker, "Lyon & Healy of Chicago," is in remarkable original condition. Curly maple with burnished gold, this musical instrument is also a work of sculpture.
Style 14 and Serial No. 3031, this playable harp has been restrung with 43 new strings. Played very little and kept in storage for decades, the state of preservation is amazing. The soundboard is decorated, there are small separations from age shrinkage at the neck, see photos. Pedal action is in very good working condition.
A felt cover and original wooden shipping case are included. Harp dimensions are 67" tall to the top of the fluted column with a crown.
