A traditional Georgian design breakfront china cabinet or bookcase has a pull out desk, and dates from the 1950's, signed by noted maker "Maddox Colonial Reproductions, Jamestown, NY."
The restored finish is in excellent condition on mahogany with matched flame grain panels and delicate inlaid banding. Shelves have grooves to display plates if desired.
Hardware is original and door locks operate. Center drawers have gracefully curved bow fronts, solid oak sides are dovetailed. No maker's signature survives, other than the "Mahogany Association" label. The upper section with grillwork is not removable.
Measurements are 56" wide, 16" deep and 80" tall.
