Marble Top Marquetry Demilune Cabinet

The inlaid marquetry and banding is dazzling on this demilune or half round cabinet, the artistry in rosewood, satinwood, ebony, walnut and matched mahogany is exceptional.

Warm antique patina enhances the stellar vibrant marquetry - the classical scene with a sleeping angel is beautiful. The original satiny finish is in excellent condition with minor mars at the edges, see photos.

Drawers are dovetailed and embossed brass hardware is original. The marble top has beautiful grain on this stellar American furniture dating from about 1930.

Measurements of this beautiful console are 43" wide, 20" deep and 34" tall.
