A spectacular Hepplewhite design dining set from the 1920's is genuine shimmering satinwood, inlaid with burl and exotic wood marquetry patterns. The table has three original matching leaves with skirts or aprons, and six chairs have recent European upholstery.
The restored gleaming finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. No maker's signature survives.
Table size is 30" tall with 26" of legroom, 44" wide and 68" long when closed. Leaves are 11" wide and overall length will all three leaves in place is 101"
Chair fabric has some fading and wear, spots. Saddle seats are comfortable and solid mahogany frames are tight and strong. Two arm chairs measures 26" wide, 24" deep and 44" tall. The seats are 18" deep and 18" tall. The four side chairs are 19" wide, 22" deep and 39" tall. The seats are 16" deep and 18" tall.
