Signed "McDougall of Frankfort, Indiana" about 1900, this solid oak combination dry sink and baker's pantry cupboard has a fine old finish. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
There are stains and shrinkage separations from age for a little antique character. Hardware is original, the "sink" has a zinc lining. The giant flour hopper rolls out on this American made antique kitchen furniture. Sides and doors are paneled. The upper section is removable for easier delivery.
This picturesque cabinet is an ancestor of the later "Hoosier" cupboards. Size is 51" wide, 29" deep, 80" tall and the wood top to the right of the sink is 34" high.
