Midcentury Modern Heywood Wakefield Dining Set

Authentic Midcentury Modern furniture from the 1960's, this dining set with 6 chairs is signed by prominent maker "Heywood Wakefield." Very well crafted in America of solid birch hardwood, the warm finish is in excellent condition.

Comfortably curved chairs have tight and strong frames, and have been professionally reupholstered in fabric of the period. Size of the arm chair is 22" wide, 22" deep, 33" tall and the seat is 19" high, 5 side chairs are 18" wide.

The table has a center leg for extra support plus two original 15" wide extension leaves with skirts. Measurements are 42" wide, 28 1/2" tall, legroom is 25" underneath and length is 5' when closed, with both leaves installed, length is 7' 6" total.
