This genuine Hoosier oak kitchen cabinet has a roll top section, porcelain work surface and a flour sifter. Signed "Napanee" on an engraved brass plate, there is also a "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval" decal inside.
The warm brown finish is very fine, there are touch-ups to the edges of the pull-out porcelain work surface. The sifter appears to work, but we had no flour for a test - it is embossed "Patented Nov 28, 1916." The hardware looks original as well, and there are wire racks inside. A breadboard is stored in a slot in the lower cabinet section, and there is a tin bread drawer on the bottom right.
Width of the porcelain top is 40" plus 3" more for the removable oak tab at the right to mount cherry pitter, sausage grinder, or your choice of antique kitchen gadgets. Classic American country furniture, depth is 28", height 6,' and the base is 33" high.
