Oak Antique 16 Drawer Office or Library File or Collector Cabinet, Matthews

Crafted of solid oak about 1890, a 16 drawer file cabinet has original embossed pulls. On the back is a signature by famous maker, "Matthews Bros. of Milwaukee, Wis." Drawers have walnut moldings around chestnut fronts, with round "pin and cove" dovetail joints.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique American made library or office furniture. Label holders are later. Drawer interior size is 20" deep, 14 1/2" wide and 2" tall.

Overall size is 38" wide, 25" deep and 46" tall.
