Oak Antique Trunk or Blanket Chest, Carved After 1677 Scottish Original #29939

Carved of solid oak about 1910 with traditional Scottish thistle motifs, this trunk or blanket chest bears the inscription "FB 1677," after the original piece.

The top of this antique furniture has been revarnished for durability, the rest of the original finish has been waxed and buffed. There is no key for the lock of this antique furniture from Scotland.

Size is 48" long, 20 1/2" wide and 25" tall.
