Oak Antique Victorian Gothic Scandinavian Library Bookcase, Beveled Glass #29660

A Victorian Gothic bookcase was hand carved of solid oak in Scandinavia in the early 1900's. Doors have beveled glass, shelves adjust on wooden supports. Gothic tracery and columns are distinguished.

The original finish is very well preserved on this European antique library furniture. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain the warm luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. The door lock works. Doors are so heavy that this cabinet needs to either be screwed to the wall or filled with books for stability.

Size is 55" wide tip to tip, 16" deep and 88" tall.
