Oak Carved Griffin Lion Paw Antique 1900 Rocker

Spectacularly carved with griffin heads and lion paw feet, this solid quarter sawn oak rocking chair dates from about 1900.

The deep rich brown finish is in excellent condition with a few mars at the edges for antique character, see photos. Tight and strong, the frame of this rocker is gracefully shaped. This American made rocker is cozy and comfortable and is newly upholstered.

Size is 28" wide, 36" deep, 42" tall and the seat is 18" high.
