Oak Carved Sofa or Settee Made from Swedish 1880's Trunk, New Upholstery

This substantial loveseat or settee was made many years ago from an 1880's era solid oak trunk or chest. Wrought iron handles are original. Hand carved traditional motifs are authentic on this Scandinavian antique furniture.

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving mars, dings and shrinkage separations from age for antique character, see photos.

The comfortable seat is newly upholstered in soft fabric.

Measurements are 70" wide, 33" deep, 31" tall and the seat is 18" high.
